Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Yesterday, we visited this restaurant with our children. It has a wonderful atmosphere and beautiful interior. There is a children's menu. The service was very good, and we were impressed by the staff. All the dishes were very tasty. If possible, we will come here again. We highly recommend it."
"We were taken aback by the queue before the restaurant open. It’s buzzing with couples and families. There were seats in the court yard but need to reserve. It gets pretty busy once it opens but the food came to the table in good time.. highly recommended."
"Very good food! Nice, cozy atmosphere. However, they really need to stop the waiters from insisting on pushing bottled water, sparkling or still. It’s up to the customer to ask for it, not for you to impose it!"
"Lovely clean restaurant with a nice atmosphere, beautifully decorated inside. The food is really nice and fresh. Lots of different dishes to choose from, lots of fresh fish, tuna steak was great. They don't take reservations, it opens at 7pm and you just queue up to get a table. It also opens for lunch but I think it's just pizza."
"We went here for dinner and lunch and both times the dishes we ate were delicious. Freshly prepared, decent portion of food and nice selection of seafood and pizza. We enjoyed spaghetti vongole, a seafood salad and culurgiones (typical Sardinia dish - a must try). The other day shrimp cocktail and penne pomodori, the tomato sauce was very tasty."
"Honestly great experience. Food was delicious and staff on point. Got to front door at 6:45 and made it in with the first wave of guests. The muscles with garlic and parsley were delicious. The tuna tartare was super fresh and flavourful. Even though they let in 200 people back to back the service was still great. Would definitely recommend trying this place. MAKE SURE YOU ARE DOOR BEFORE THEY OPEN"
"Very good food. I’m curtailing a star here and there because of the weird “booking” system whereby you have to show up in person. Concretely it means that in the summer you will see a queue of people waiting for it to open at 19:00 to book a table for later on. Honestly I think a booking system (preferable online) would be better. Lots of waiters running around makes it a different atmosphere from smaller restaurants, more hectic. Food is excellent, I had the swordfish and it was cooked to perfection and tender but not chewy."
"We had a fantastic dinner at Ristorante Sa Tankitta. The standout was the sea bream with crispy skin, tender, perfectly seasoned meat. The fried octopus and tuna tartare were also excellent, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Even the grilled vegetables and tomato salad impressed with their freshness and simplicity. The only downside was how hard it was to book a table. The place is very busy, so we felt lucky to snag a table last minute. Definitely worth the effort!"
